Erin McKeown

I saw Erin at Bowery Ballroom on Sunday, April 2. She was amazing!
The first time I saw her was back in 1998 or so - she played a solo acoustic set full of spirit and raw talent. I believe she was going back to school and thus putting her music career on hold.
Fast forward, 2006 - I refound Erin. Now she has released a few critically acclaimed albums and has a backing band consisting of keyboards and drums. With the added instruments the folky Erin has become a little more rock 'n' roll and it's all good. Great voice, great vibes, Erin McKeown.
